Andrei Removich Belousov

Born in 1959.

In 1981 graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

 

Doctor of Science, Economics.

 

From 1981 till 1986 — researcher, junior research fellow of the modeling man-machine system laboratory of the Central Economic Mathematical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.

 

From 1986 till 2006 held various positions in the Institute of the Economics and Technological Forecasting of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR/Institute of the Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

 

In 2000 — 2006 — General Director of the Center for Macroeconomic Analysis and Short-term Forecasting.

 

From 2000 — Non-staff Counselor of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.

 

In 2006 — 2008 — Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

 

From 2008 till 2012 — Director of the Department of Economy and Finance of the Government of the Russian Federation.

 

Since May 2012 — Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
