On 3 October 2005, deputy Minister for Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation V.G. Saveliyev took part in the 13 annual meeting of the US-Russia Business Council in Moscow.
The US-Russia Business Council, a major organization of business communities, committed, and actually contributing to the development of trade and economic ties between Russia and the USA, has held its annual meeting, for the first time in more than a decade, in Moscow.
V.G. Saveliyev made a contribution at the plenary meeting. His contribution covered the development of mutual trade and highlighted available untapped potential for its expansion. His contribution also addressed issues of improving the business climate in Russia such as establishment of an investment fund, partnership between the state and private business, special economic zones and stepping-up of copyright protection.
