German Gref, Minister of the Russian Federation for Economic Development and Trade met Michel Danet, Secretary General of the World Customs Organization, on May 13, 2005.

The meeting addressed issues of raising security and monitoring standards in foreign economic activity and improving the involvement of Russian customs agencies in the World Customs Organization.

Aleksandr Zherikhov, Head of Russian Federal Customs Service, and Leonid Lozbenko, Deputy Head of Russian Federal Customs Service, took part in the meeting.
